Selecting an Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP)

Apprenticeship Network Providers (ANP) are your first point of contact for all questions you may have about apprenticeships or traineeships. For your staff member to be eligible for Government subsidised programs they must hold a contract with you as their employer. These training contracts are supported and managed by the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (Apprenticeship Network).

Apprenticeship Network Providers are contracted by the Australian Government to provide free information and advice to employers, apprentices and trainees. They can give personalised advice and support services from pre-commencement to completion.

Apprenticeship Network Providers offer essential administrative support and targeted services for individuals who need extra support to complete their apprenticeship

Before signing up an apprentice or trainee, contact an ANP. This is a free service. You can’t start an apprenticeship or traineeship without one. Your ANP will advise you on:

• the right type of apprenticeship or traineeship for your business
• paperwork and administration for establishing and maintaining the apprenticeship or traineeship
• eligibility and how to apply for government incentive payments.

The Australian Community Education College, as an RTO, delivers vocational training to apprentices or trainees. We also organise the Training Plan.
